Cultural Care Au Pair is an experienced and trusted program, which has been providing people aged 18 to 26 with the opportunity to travel to the US as an Au Pair since 1989.

Australia

Au Pair Training School Instructor, Sydney, CBD
We are seeking a passionate part-time child care instructor to own and develop an updated curriculum from our U.S. counterparts and educate our au pairs/nannies before arriving to their Australian host family. You will be a hardworking and enthusiastic leader with previous experience working in a health, education, or child-related service area. 

The applicant will be a motivated individual with a keen interest in encouraging and inspiring au pairs/nannies to adapt to Australian culture, learn child health & safety education, and improve their child care skills. Requirements:

  • Positive, flexible, and energetic
  • Passion for young people from other cultures
  • Ability to work independently and create an engaging lesson plan
  • Must be C-III certified
  • Related child care experience in either the education, health, or child care related industry
  • Must have own transportation to Sydney CBD

Local child care coordinator, Sydney Metro Area
As a Cultural Care local child care coordinator (LCC) in your community, you are an important member of the Cultural Care Au Pair team. You are an organiser, a mediator, and an ambassador. You work closely to support our host families and au pairs, a position that allows you the flexibility to work part-time out of your own home. 

Responsibilities include:

  • Supporting host families and au pairs throughout their program term.
  • Answering questions as they arise for existing and potential customers.
  • Serving as a mediator for concerns of program participants.
  • Plan and execute monthly au pair meetings.
  • Screen and interview host families interested in hosting an au pair.
  • Ensure host family and au pair compliance with Cultural Care regulations.

Requirements include:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong customer service skills.
  • Interest in cultural exchange.
  • Ability to work independently without supervision from home.
  • Flexible schedule to connect with host families and au pairs
  • Quality decision-making abilities
  • Training will be provided; no child care certification required

Desirable:

  • Strong community connections and networks.
  • Owns a vehicle.
  • Previous counseling experience.
  • Prior cultural exchange or international travel experience.

Italy 

We are currently looking for Recruitment Leaders on a part time basis in Roma and Perugia. Over the years our network of Regional Leaders has become an integral part of our business and we pride ourselves on the strong relationships we have formed with our Recruitment Leaders. 

The role involves:

  • Marketing our au pair program to young people in your area.
  • Holding screening and information meetings for our future au pairs at least once a month including pre- and post-processing (phone calls, e-mails etc.).
  • Interviewing prospective au pairs in German and English.
  • Acting as the support person for them throughout the application process.
  • Checking applications and verifying references.

If you are independent, goal oriented, responsible and think cultural exchange and extended travel abroad provide a great experience to young people then you might be the person we are looking for. If you have your own au pair or study abroad experience, especially from the US, it is a great advantage. Cultural Care Au Pair søker akkurat nu en rekrutteringsleder i Norge. Vi søker deg som er et konkurransemenneske og som vil jobbe deltid! Du skal like å jobbe med ungdommer siden du kommer til å markedsføre au pair programmet vårt. Du kommer til å være ansvarlig for informasjonsmøter, ha mye telefonkontakt og kontinuerlig oppfølging av de blivende au pairene. I jobben inngår en hel del reisende til flere byer i Norge, framfør alt Nord-Norge, som til og med kommer til å bli ditt hovedansvar. Dessuten kommer du til å ha kontakt med arbeidsformidlinger, skoler og messer.  Vi vil at du er selvsikker, målbevisst, disiplinert og ansvarsfull. Du ska synes att det at det er viktig med utenlandsbesøk og kulturelle utvekslinger. Norge er for oss ett nytt og spennende marked og mulighetene er ubegrenset for den som vil og kan! Erfaring fra en au pair jobb, studier i utlandet, eller en annen erfaring fra USA er et krav. Dette er en perfekt jobb til å kombinere med studier eller en annen deltidsjobb.
